We welcome Membership applications from ceramists able to work independently in a studio environment. Choose from our Firing, Regular or Premier Membership options. All levels of membership include 4,500 cubic firing inches per month, discounts on workshops and classes and the opportunity to participate in our bi-annual Spring and Fall Open Studio Sales. Regular and Premier memberships provide access to the studio and full use of ceramic equipment. We offer a discount on annual and quarterly memberships .

Xiem Clay Center's Studio Membership is in high demand . To maintain our exceptional service, we limit the number of new members accepted. We suggest that you add your name to our waiting-list at least 8 weeks before you plan to join so that we can notify you of openings.

Day-Use Passes - Visit Xiem Clay Center for the day to try out our facility. We offer a limited number of day-use passes for access to the studio Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm. Day-Use passes are of limited availability and must be arranged in advance.They are intended to accommodate visiting artists, ceramics students and guests of current members.

Premier Membership: Members have unrestricted access to our studio seven days a week, 24 hours/day, plus 4,500* cubic inches of bisque and glaze firings. The number of available premier memberships is limited.

  • Monthly - Regular: $130
  • Quarterly - If paid in full, you will receive 10% discount
  • Yearly - If paid in full, you will receive 15% discount

Regular Membership: $105/month (members may access the studio during normal business hours, plus 4,500* cubic inches of firing wares (bisque and glaze firings) per month.

  • Quarterly - If paid in full, you will receive 10% discount
  • Yearly - If paid in full, you will receive 15% discount

Firing Membership: $90 month - Firing members may access the facility during normal business hours to submit or glaze their works. This membership allows you to fire up to 4,500* cubic inches of firing wares (bisque and glaze firings), full access to all of our studio glazes and discount on selected workshops and classes. Absolutely NO ACCESS to potter's wheels or any other equipment.

  •  Monthly - Regular: $90
  • Quarterly - If paid in full, you will receive 10% discount
  •  Yearly - If paid in full, you will receive 15% discount

Outside Firing (without membership) is available at 3¢ per cubic inch including bisque and glaze firing and full privileges to use our studio glazes. There is a $20 minimum for outside firings.
