Xiem [sim] Clay Center comprises a modern ceramics studio providing 24/7 access for members, an education center for the ceramic arts and a fine art ceramics gallery and store featuring innovative, contemporary, fine art pottery and sculpture. It is located in the heart of Pasadena, California and was founded by Kevin Xiem Nguyen in 2003.

The purpose of the center is to foster a community of ceramic artists and to further public awareness, understanding and appreciation of ceramic arts.
We offer studio memberships and classes taught by ceramic artists and faculty from various institutions. Xiem is a fun and exciting place to make ceramic art and to enjoy interacting with a great group of people.
We sell a variety of Cone 10 stoneware and porcelain clays, low-fire glazes and underglazes and stock a great selection of specialist pottery tools.

Continue on Arroyo for several blocks to Colorado Blvd. Turn RIGHT and go 1 mile to Lake Avenue signal. Make a left and continue on Lake Avenue for 1.5 miles and Xiem Clay Center is on your LEFT at 1563 N. Lake Ave.
From Burbank/South San Fernando Valley: East on 134 Freeway to 210 Freeway. Exit Lake Avenue and make a LEFT, continue on Lake Avenue for 1.5 miles and Xiem Clay Center is on your LEFT at 1563 N. Lake Ave.
